Aquilin on the Beach - Hibiscus Lane, Holloways Beach

This project included a complete renovation of the rear yard on this beautiful property on the beachfront at Holloways Beach. This product was used as a luxury rental property while the owners were overseas and we were on a tight timeline to ensure that the project was completed to the highest standard in a window that was blocked off between bookings. The customer had a clear vision of what they wanted and we worked via a sketch design, then worked on products and selections that would meet their objectives for a quality finish with durable materials. The project started with the removal of all existing materials and significant earth works to correct the gradings that were not falling away from the existing patio. This included installation of exposed aggregate concrete around the pool area in Boral’s Arctic Sun and new fully frameless glass with 316 grade stainless steel spigots. This not only provided a modern look to the pool area and provided a seamless view to the stunning the ocean outlook. This was then sealed with 2 x coats of UV sealer to protect it from stains, enhanced the colour and protected the life of the product. An area was created for the sun loungers using Stoneware White Percosi Pavers beside the beach with new stepping stones to link the pool, gazebo and sun lounger areas. A new freestanding Brighton Silver 316 Stainless Steel Marine Grade Outdoor Shower was installed with a Boral Arctic Sun exposed aggregate base to match the pool area, with Stoneware White Percosi Pavers to link this area to the pool and beach areas. The remaining area was installed with premium Zoyzia Macrantha turf and the rear yard irrigation was completely replaced to maintain all lawn areas and garden beds, whilst integrating with the existing Hunter X Core irrigation system to the front yard. All areas were then installed with 316 marine lighting to highlight feature areas, all controlled via bluetooth controlled timer. All garden beds were tidied up and new tea tree mulch installed.
